Since the advent of synthetic dyes in the 1850-s, sustainable natural dyes and techniques started to die rapidly because they could not compete in the following areas: cost and efficiency, reproducibility, durability and aesthetics.
These were precisely the challenges that we set out to address when we designed out manufacturing process.
COST AND EFFICIENCY
The current natural dye industry is mainly operating at an artisan level. Our new technology and raw material choices are also addressed to serve mass market manufacturers.
Our supply chain enables us to procure raw materials in large quantities, thereby ensuring the colour consistency across the lot.
Different natural mordants ensure excellent fastness on all parameters and capacity to withstand multiple washing cycles.
Besides earthy and understated natural colour palette, the colour evenness can be achieved with different techniques.
